A Curation of Cringe Compiled From Murky Corners of the Internet

Self awareness can often feel like a curse. When we have too much knowledge of social rules, judgments, and potential consequences for acting out, it can seem like we're living our lives with very restricted freedoms. 

While many instances of cringe seem to demonstrate a stunning lack of this trait, some might argue that they have come about because of those involved overthinking things. Although people frequently go about it in ways that are embarrassing or even morally wrong, many cringeworthy moments spring from a heartfelt desire to be able to stop giving a f*ck. 

That's something that we can all relate to, even if we would stay far away from displaying any of the behavior presented here. We can only hope that the examples in this list were able to reflect, learn, and do better next time. That, or they got deservedly roasted for the terrible things they said.
